I recently received an email from Find-A-Code that my account is going to expire soon. What do I need to do to renew?

Updated on

Find-A-Code accounts are good for one year after initial set-up, at which point the data refreshes and your login credentials will need to be renewed. Once the account “expires”, it is simple to renew:

  • First, go ahead and ignore/delete the email, there is no need to click on the link provided.

  • Second, log in to AHIMA VLab Academy, then click the Launch Find-A-Code. You have two choices:

    1. Click Sign-In, and login again using your established email address and password just like you did the first time. Because Find-A-Code refreshes account data periodically, it will remember you again. No need to redeem any codes or anything like that. Or . . .

    2. At the AHIMA VLab New User Registration window, you can enter an alternate email address, Zip Code, and click Submit to establish a separate new account. The following should display:
Congratulations! Your account has been created. You will be automatically logged in and brought to the home page when accessing Find-A-Code from AHIMA VLab next time around. You may optionally create a new Password from the My Account page.
