What is Emeritus Membership?
- In recognition of service to the profession, current or recently lapsed (up to one year) AHIMA members age 65 and over are eligible for Emeritus Membership.
- How do I qualify for Emeritus Membership?
- To be eligible for Emeritus Membership you must be a current or recently lapsed AHIMA member and must be 65 years or older.
- How much does Emeritus Membership cost?
- Emeritus members enjoy $100 dollars off Professional Membership annually. Total dues are $49 a year.
- What is included in Emeritus Membership?
- Emeritus members receive a deeply discounted membership annual membership rate ($49) as well as discounted recertification fees ($50 every two years). In addition, benefits included in Emeritus Membership include:
- Local Component Association (CA) affiliation
- Access to free CEUs through volunteering and mentoring
- Free CEUs for attending quarterly member town halls
- Journal of AHIMA
- Member exclusive online community
