  • What is Emeritus Membership? 

    • In recognition of service to the profession, current or recently lapsed (up to one year) AHIMA members age 65 and over are eligible for Emeritus Membership.

     

  • How do I qualify for Emeritus Membership?
    • To be eligible for Emeritus Membership you must be a current or recently lapsed AHIMA member and must be 65 years or older.

 

  • How much does Emeritus Membership cost?
    • Emeritus members enjoy $100 dollars off Professional Membership annually.  Total dues are $49 a year.

 

  • What is included in Emeritus Membership?
    • Emeritus members receive a deeply discounted membership annual membership rate ($49) as well as discounted recertification fees ($50 every two years). In addition, benefits included in Emeritus Membership include:
      • Local Component Association (CA) affiliation 
      • Access to free CEUs through volunteering and mentoring
      • Free CEUs for attending quarterly member town halls
      • Journal of AHIMA
      • Member exclusive online community
      • Discounts on AHIMA products and events
