2. In the "Exam Application Process" section, select the link in Step 2
3. Select your country from the dropdown
4. Select your test
5. Review the information provided and select "Launch"
6. Sign in with your AHIMA account
7. In the application, verify that your name displays correctly
8. Complete the Address and Phone Number section
9. Complete the Eligibility section
10. Complete the School Info section
11. Complete the Transcripts section
AHIMA's mailing address is provided below. Include your name for reference in the field provided if you are using digital transcripts.
12. Complete the Cost Coverage section
13. (Optional) Complete the Early Testing and ADA Accommodations sections
13.1. If applying as an early tester, check the corresponding checkbox
13.2. Upload your supporting documentation under "Early Testing Affidavit"
13.3. If you require ADA accommodations for your test, select the "I will require special accommodations"
13.4. Check each appropriate selection
13.5. Upload any supporting documentation under "ADA Documentation"
14. Complete the Education and Preparation section
Each of these fields is required to proceed with the application.
If you hold a higher degree than the HIM program, you must enter in the details of this educational background in the fields that populate with a “yes” selection.
15. Review the Release of Info section and check the boxes
