The following are the minimum system requirements for AHIMA online courses.

Desktop Support

  • Windows 7, 8, 10 & 11 are supported, as well as Mac OS.
  • Internet access required is: Broadband High-Speed, Cable, or DSL.
  • Google Chrome is recommended, but Firefox and Microsoft Edge are supported. All browsers are recommended to be up to date in their latest versions. Internet Explorer is not supported.

Hardware

  • Processor: 1Ghz Intel or AMD processor (minimum)
  • RAM: 2GB of RAM (minimum)
  • Video Processor: Any external or internal GPU that is required by the operating system
  • Hard Drive: Any Hard drive space that is required by the operating system
  • In most cases, the course and applications are best viewed at a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768. Otherwise you may experience clipping or pixelated content.

Expand or collapse content How do I request a grade report?

AHIMA offers grade reports for courses completed after 1/1/2016. The fee for all reports is $20.

A Grade Report includes the following information:

  • Students ID#
  • Student Name
  • Class Title
  • Score
  • Percentage
  • Date of Final

To submit a request for a grade report, email [email protected] and provide a phone number and the best time to be called for payment information.

Expand or collapse content How do I obtain a certificate of completion and CEUs when I finish an online course?

When you complete and pass an online course, your completion certificate and CEUs will be available in the MyAHIMA "CEU Center" (login required) within 48 hours.

Note that AHIMA is no longer a partner with American Council on Education (ACE) for transcripts.

Expand or collapse content How long do I have access to an online product that I purchased?

All AHIMA online courses have 1 year of access from the date of purchase or from the date of purchase redemption. Once that period expires you will no longer have access to your purchase. Please make sure you complete your activities before the expiration date, otherwise, you won't be able to claim any CEUs.

All AHIMA online courses are eligible for a refund if canceled within 30 days after the date of purchase.

Returned online education products are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Refunds are not issued for any product after 30 days from the purchase date or if the customer has claimed CEU credit from the product. Customers who have canceled their purchase will be unenrolled from the product and will not have access to any of the content or related user data. Cancelled courses will not appear on the learner’s education history. CEUs will not be awarded or retained for canceled products.

All AHIMA Online Learning products, including online courses, and AHIMA VLab, are eligible for a refund if cancelled within 30 days after the date of purchase.
