Check that you are redeeming the correct code in the correct location

  • If you are redeeming a VLab or Book Resources code, you should be in the MyAHIMA Learning Center.
  • If you are redeeming a code for a certification exam, you should be entering the code as part of the exam application process
  • If you are redeeming a membership code, you should be entering it during the membership application process.

After confirming that you are in the right place, if you continue to get an error, press "Continue"

Check your code for typos and extra spaces & try again

  • Check for extra spaces before or after the code and remove them
  • Review visually similar characters (ex: 0 and O, capital "I" and lowercase "L," etc.)
  • Include the entire code: If your code includes any hyphens, make sure to include the hyphen as well as any characters before and/or after it.

If you received your code via email or on a webpage, it's best to copy and paste it directly from the source.

Did you get the same "Internal Server Error" message?
